How To Particiate Video Publicity

Reader-to-Reader programs provide books to children locally and worldwide who have few resources of their own. Participating in a Reader-to-Reader collection can be an excellent community service activity for a small organization or group. To receive Reader-to-Reader books, a location must have an on-site coordinator to take responsibility for the care and use of the books.

Volunteers in Reader-to-Reader programs:
* collect and prepare new or gently used books for distribution to participating libraries
* establish new children's libraries
* advise groups interested in collecting/donating good books
* link groups to locations where books can be sent

International Reader-to-Reader Directors:
* Belize: Susan Lipsitch
* Caribbean: Patricia Dash.
* Ghana: Ann Thurston.
* Kenya: Kemie Nix.
* Puerto Rico: Jackie Winter, Founder.
                       Juan Carlos Gaston, Biblioteca Juvenil de Mayaguez, Inc.
* South Africa: Emily Hilimire.
